WHAT MUST BE DONE
1. We need one million students and citizens to go to www.lifter.us and for those students to sign a petition for the US Government to loosen the requirements for building LFTR reactors, and to pledge at least one billion dollars, preferably
ten billion, towards research and development of a LFTR reactor design which can be mass
produced. Ten billion dollars is only the cost of one LWR reactor. It is our world. Let’s save it. SIGN THE
PETITION.
2. All contracts for building the reactors and doing the research should be given to the coal, natural gas, and petroleum industries in order to minimize the effects of shutting down these industries. And all jobs created should be given to the employees of these
companies, where possible, so that all of these employees are not now jobless.
3. All of this must be accomplished within two years, as we cannot allow 80 billion more tons of CO2 to be delivered to the atmosphere.
